Maharashtra to get 28,000 crore litres of water from Narmada Project

Maharashtra will receive 10 TMC (thousand million cubic feet) or about 28,317 crore litres of water from the Narmada Project, CM Devendra Fadnavis announced. Five TMC will come from the Narmada-Tapi diversion and five from the Ukai Project, benefitting Nandurbar and North Maharashtra. "A 20-year-old issue resolved," Fadnavis said after a meeting with the CMs of Gujarat, MP and Rajasthan.
