Maharashtra to set up 6 AI centres, make 2,000 GPUs: CM Fadnavis

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said the state plans to establish six centres of excellence for artificial intelligence (AI) in Mumbai and provide 2,000 graphics processing units (GPUs) to meet growing computing demand. He added Maharashtra aims to lead the AI revolution while ensuring ethical AI remains central to government policy, with a focus on equity and accessibility.
