Maharashtra to set up AI wildlife alert systems in 1,000 villages

To reduce human-wildlife conflict, the Maharashtra government has approved a ₹260-crore action plan. This includes setting up artificial intelligence-based alert systems, control rooms, rescue centres, treatment centres and more. The government is also planning 10 transit treatment centres for injured or rescued wild animals.
