Former Supreme Court judge Justice Markandey Katju has said Mahatma Gandhi was a feudal minded hypocrite and reactionary who did India great harm. "Gandhi's economic ideas of charkha, khadi, self sufficient village communities, trusteeship, etc were totally reactionary and nonsense," he wrote in his blog. The real Father of the Nation is the great Emperor Akbar, not Gandhi, he added.
