Mahatransco plans ₹740-cr power project for Purandar airport

Mahatransco has planned a ₹740-crore power transmission project in Saswad-Kodit area to support the proposed Purandar airport. The project includes a 400/220 kV substation with 1,000 MVA capacity and a 125 MVAr bus reactor, targeting January 2028 completion. It will also serve IT parks, industries, residential and commercial developments in the Purandar region.
