Mahavir Phogat wrongly projected as my father by some media houses: Vinesh Phogat

Olympics-bound wrestler Vinesh Phogat took to Twitter to urge media to do a "thorough background check" before writing about athletes. She added Mahavir Phogat has been wrongly projected as her father by some media houses. She clarified Mahavir is her late father's elder brother. "I lost my father when I was 9 and his name was Rajpal Phogat," she wrote.
