Mahayuti nominates BJP’s Ritu Tawde for Mumbai Mayor post

Mumbai BJP chief Amit Satam has announced corporator Ritu Tawde as Mahayuti's nominee for the post of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's Mayor. Tawde is a corporator from Ward 132 in Ghatkopar and previously served as chairperson of the civic body's Education Committee. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena has named Sanjay Shankar Ghadi, a corporator from Magathane, as its candidate for Deputy Mayor.
