Mahindra to invest ₹3,000cr in electric vehicles in near term: CEO

Mahindra Group CEO Anish Shah in an interview with Bloomberg said the company will invest ₹3,000 crore in electric vehicles (EVs) in the near term. Shah, who was recently appointed as CEO, further said the company is banking on EVs overtaking "gas guzzlers", or fuel-powered vehicles, by 2030. Mahindra will also launch electric variants of its SUVs, Shah added.
