Maiden pharma didn't perform quality testing in cough syrup: Notice

Maiden Pharmaceuticals, which was flagged by the WHO following the death of 66 children in Gambia, didn't perform quality testing of a raw material used in the manufacture of one of the medicines, according to Haryana drug controller's show cause notice. The notice listed 12 points of contraventions which were detected during the inspection of the company's Sonepat unit.
