Main accused in Assam student leader's killing dies in accident while trying to escape

The main accused in All Assam Students’ Union leader's killing died in a road accident on Tuesday night while he allegedly tried to escape police custody, the police said. Niraj Das alias 'Kola Lora', was among the 13 persons arrested for allegedly beating the student leader, Animesh Bhuyan, to death in Jorhat on Monday.
