Main accused of running conversion racket in UP's gyms arrested, was trying to flee abroad

UP's Mirzapur Police has arrested Ashfaq Khan, the main accused in connection with an illegal religious conversion racket allegedly operating under the guise of gyms, reported PTI. Ashfaq, who was trying to flee to Singapore, was carrying a reward of ₹25,000. The racket, which has been dubbed "Gym Jihad", first came to light in January after two women filed complaints.
