A major accident occurred at the launch ceremony for a new North Korean naval destroyer, state media reported, with leader Kim Jong-un saying the mishap was a "criminal act". He added the accident was caused by absolute carelessness and irresponsibility, and could not be tolerated. Kim said the accident "brought the dignity and self-respect of North Korea to a collapse".
