Major fire breaks out at chip manufacturing factory in Kottayam

A major fire broke out at PCB Express, an under-construction chip manufacturing factory in Kottayam on Wednesday. The facility was being prepared to manufacture computer chips and motherboards and was expected to be inaugurated in December. Initial reports suggest an air conditioner short circuit may have triggered the blaze. Firefighters brought it under control, with no casualties reported.
