Major General GD Bakshi’s father didn’t want him to join the Army

Major General GD Bakshi shared that he was a bibliophile, and his father didn't feel he was fit to join Indian Army. "You are not worthy of the army, you are a square peg in a round hole," were some of his father's words. However, he had a clear goal in mind and pursued his dream to join the Army.
