A 404 Media investigation reveals that Cox Media Group, a major marketing firm with clients like Facebook and Google, has admitted to using smartphone microphones to listen to users' conversations for targeted advertising. Google removed CMG from its 'Partners Program' website after it was contacted by 404 Media to comment on the matter.
