Major pay hike for domestic women cricketers as BCCI raises fees by 2.5 times

The BCCI has more than doubled the match fees of women cricketers and officials in domestic cricket. As per the revised structure, women cricketers featuring in senior domestic cricket tournaments will now earn ₹50,000 per day, a jump from the existing ₹20,000 per match day. The hike was approved by the BCCI's Apex Council.
