Malayalam actor Mohanlal conferred with Padma Bhushan

Malayalam film actor Mohanlal will be awarded India's third highest civilian honour, Padma Bhushan, for his contribution to cinema. The five-time National Film Award winning actor was earlier honoured with the Padma Shri in 2001. Indian classical sitar maestro Budhaditya Mukherjee was also amongst the fourteen Padma Bhushan recipients.
