Malaysia approves booster dose of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine

Malaysia has granted conditional approval for the use of a booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, Health Ministry said. The booster shot was approved for use among all over-18s at least six months after receiving their second dose, it added. Last month, WHO had urged countries to hold off on booster shots until 2022 to reduce global vaccine inequality.
