Maldives High Commissioner summoned by Indian govt amid row over ministers' remarks

Maldives High Commissioner Ibrahim Shaheeb was summoned by the Indian Foreign Ministry on Monday amid a row over alleged racist comments by Maldivian politicians against India. A video of Shaheeb exiting the ministry in Delhi's South Block, also surfaced online. Maldivian government on Sunday suspended three ministers and issued a statement distancing itself from the remarks.
