Maldives newspaper raided over Prez corruption claims

Maldivian police raided the offices of a newspaper and a human rights NGO after people involved with the organisations helped produce an Al Jazeera documentary, which accused the country's President Abdulla Yameen of corruption. The documentary, titled 'Stealing Paradise', accused Yameen and his government of laundering around $1.5 billion, a charge which the Maldivian government has denied.
