Photos from Maldives & French Polynesia were misleadingly shared as Lakshadweep by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and Minister Kiren Rijiju. Amidst a controversy involving derogatory remarks about PM Modi by Maldives ministers, Indian celebrities posted on visiting domestic destinations. However, the shared images were not from India, as revealed by reverse image searches and stock photo captions.
