Maldives President Muizzu departs on his 1st state visit to India

Maldives President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed have departed on a state visit to India. It is Muizzu's first state visit to India after he was voted to power late last year. He has been invited to India by President Droupadi Murmu. Muizzu earlier told BBC that he's confident India will help Maldives amid economic crisis.
