Maldives Prez Muizzu hails India’s ‘friendly people’ in I-Day greetings

Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu extended greetings to President Droupadi Murmu, PM Narendra Modi and the “friendly people of India” on the 80th Independence Day. “Eight decades of Independence reflect the aspirations, resilience and enduring spirit of Government and people of India,” he said. He also reaffirmed Maldives’ commitment to advancing the "enduring friendship between our two peoples."
