Mamata's nephew Abhishek gets protection from arrest in signature forgery case

The Calcutta High Court has granted Mamata Banerjee's nephew and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee interim protection from arrest for three weeks in the MLA signature forgery case. However, Abhishek has been directed to appear before the West Bengal Police Crime Investigation Department (CID) on June 11 in the case. This comes after Abhishek skipped three summons issued by the CID.
