Man, 19-yr-old daughter dies after BESCOM transformer explodes in B'luru

A man and his 19-year-old daughter died after a transformer exploded while they were passing it on a scooter in Bengaluru, police said. The man had reportedly slowed down the scooter to cross a road bump when the transformer installed by Bangalore Electricity Supply Company exploded. The oil from the transformer reportedly spilt over them, resulting in fatal burn injuries.
