Man accidentally hacks 7,000 DJI vacuums globally while trying to control his vacuum with PS5

Sammy Azdoufal, a vacation rental home company's AI head, accidentally took command over nearly 7,000 of DJI's new robot vacuums worldwide while trying to remote-control his vacuum with a PS5 gamepad, The Verge reported. Azdoufal revealed he used Claude Code to reverse engineer DJI's protocols while building his app. He claimed he could access the live camera feed, maps, etc.
