Man accused of killing Russian general Kirillov was paid ₹85 lakh
Russia has detained a man from Uzbekistan, who investigators say placed the bomb inside a scooter which killed General Igor Kirillov, head of Russia's Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defence Forces. The man was reportedly paid approximately ₹85 lakh by Ukrainian security services. Ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said the assassination was an act of terrorism and sought 'immediate revenge'.
