A college student in Kannur was allegedly attacked by Kiran Singu, a native of Odisha, while returning home after an Onam celebration. She realised she was being followed and raised an alarm when he allegedly tried to attack her, prompting nearby classmates to intervene and help her escape before Pazhayangadi police arrested Singu.
