Man arrested in Bengaluru for plotting attack on Pakistani army

Police in Bengaluru have arrested a 25-year-old security guard and West Bengal native, Asaful Mallick, for allegedly plotting to target Pakistani army in retaliation to atrocities against Muslims in Pakistan. He allegedly established contact with a suspected member of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Afghanistan to undergo terrorist training. Asaful reportedly also planned attacks in India.
