Man attacks bus conductor with sharp knife in UP, claims he ‘insulted’ Prophet Muhammad

A man, Lareb Hashmi, allegedly attacked a bus conductor Harikesh Vishwakarma in Prayagraj with a sharp knife. In a video, he claimed he did so as he "insulted" Prophet Muhammad. However, a few reports claimed Vishwakarma was attacked after he stopped Hashmi from harassing a girl. Hashmi allegedly fired at police and was arrested after being injured in retaliatory fire.
