Man beaten up by TN Special Sub-Inspector dies; officer held after video surfaces

A man has died allegedly after being beaten up by a Special Sub-Inspector in Tamil Nadu's Salem district. A video of the incident has also surfaced on social media and the accused policeman has been arrested in the murder case. Police said the victim Murugesan was under the influence of alcohol and picked up an argument with the police.
