Man behind viral blue-black dress illusion admits he strangled his wife

Keir Johnston, the Scottish man whose picture of blue-and-black or gold-and-white dress went viral, has admitted to strangling his wife, following which he was remanded in custody. In 2022, Johnston told his wife that he was leaving her after complaining that she didn't support him. He later pinned her to the ground and strangled her, a prosecutor told the court.
