Man booked for failing to report father's suicide in Brahmavar

Police have registered a case against Seetharama Naika, the elder son of Subraya Naika (66) from Kudi village, for not informing the authorities about his father’s suicide. Subraya Naika, who had been suffering from depression, tragically ended his life by hanging. Instead of notifying the police, Seetharama proceeded to perform his father’s last rites privately, which led to legal action.
