Man calls emergency services via Apple Watch after being swept by sea in Aus

Experienced surfer Rick Shearman, who was caught in rough seas while surfing on Saturday, said he was rescued with help of his Apple Watch. Shearman thought he'll look for a channel in to shore but panicked after realising the current was taking him "straight out to sea". While treading water, he used the Watch's emergency function to call for rescue.
