Man caught defecating inside temple premises in Hyderabad; protests erupt

A 26-year-old man identified as Altaf was caught defecating inside Katta Maisamma Temple in Hyderabad, leading to protests by BJP and several pro-Hindu organisations. Videos of the incident showed a crowd beating up the man after they caught him defecating. "These are deliberate attempts to hurt Hindu sentiments and disturb communal peace," Telangana BJP chief N Ramchander Rao said.
