Man crashes his Mercedes-Benz in Bengaluru, receives ₹61 lakh repair bill

Bengaluru-based Amazon software engineer Adam Rizk shared that he received a ₹61-lakh repair estimate for his Mercedes-Benz after an accident during rain. His car hydroplaned, crossed a divider and landed in the opposite lane. Asked if insurance would be able to cover repairs, Rizk said, "Yup...no way insurance will cover...repair costs...It's a total loss so they'll just give...a cash payout."
