Man creates India's 1st 'Orphanage Home for Trees' to ensure saplings planted survive

Somnath Ghosh, inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's vision of Santiniketan, founded Brikkho Foundation, India's first 'Orphanage Home for Trees'. Instead of stopping at plantation, it ensures every adopted sapling is nurtured for three years with regular monitoring, soil care, fencing, and organic inputs until it can thrive on its own. Over 2,000 trees have been planted with a 95% survival rate.
