Man demands Christmas-like Diwali holidays in India, says 'Can't celebrate with family'

An X user demanded week-long holidays for Diwali, just as employees in Europe and US get for Christmas. "You're staying 2,000 km...from hometown...You can't leave for two days...We can't even celebrate festivals with...family," he said. Many users supported his demand, some criticised India's work culture, and some said employees must be allowed to take week-long holidays based on their beliefs.
