A 34-year-old man in the US' Colorado died after being bitten by his pet lizard, a Gila monster. The reptile that bit the man was a juvenile that measured around 30 cm long. Gila monsters are venomous lizards that can grow up to 54 cm in length and their bites are not normally fatal to humans.
