Man dies after falling into manhole; family accuses civic body of negligence

An autorickshaw driver in West Bengal's Dum Dum died after falling into an open manhole on Friday. The man's family has accused the civic authorities of negligence for leaving the manhole open. "Without a job, we will perish. There should be a proper investigation into the incident. We should be provided with a job on humanitarian grounds," his wife said.
