Man dies by suicide on live video call, pregnant wife drinks acid

A 32-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur died by suicide in Bengaluru after making a video call to his wife, police said. The victim, Rohit Verma, hanged himself during the live call following marital disputes. Distraught over his death, his four-month-pregnant wife, Nandini, consumed toilet cleaner at her home and was admitted to an intensive care unit, reports stated.
