Man dies of electrocution in Ghaziabad as rainwater carries live current from transformer

A 22-year-old man died after suffering an electric shock in Ghaziabad's Indirapuram at around 3 pm on Thursday. According to an eyewitness, the man was exiting a park through its iron gate when he collapsed. As per preliminary findings, a transformer located next to the gate had allegedly allowed live current to pass through the accumulated rainwater in the area.
