Man dragged into Saryu River by crocodile during mother-in-law's funeral, body found 8 km away

A man was dragged into the Saryu River by a crocodile during his mother-in-law's funeral in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district. He had gone to wash his hands in the river after preparing the funeral pyre, when the reptile suddenly attacked him and pulled him into the river. His body was found eight kilometres away.
