Man faces up to 10 yrs in jail over fake AI crocodile picture

Singaporean man Ye Lin has been charged for allegedly creating and sharing AI-generated image falsely showing a crocodile at Pandan Reservoir. The image prompted authorities to conduct a search operation and suspend water activities. The 30-year-old faces charges of communicating a false message and obstructing the course of justice. He could face up to 10 years' imprisonment, fines or both.
