Man fakes own kidnapping to 'gain sympathy' from his 2 wives in Maha, arrested

A man was arrested in Maharashtra's Thane for faking his own kidnapping to gain sympathy from his two wives, police said. Sandip Gaikwad (36) was 'kidnapped' by three people who came in an autorickshaw and beat him up, as per his second wife's complaint. It was later discovered the trio were Sandip's friends who helped him fake the kidnapping.
