Man files petition claiming 'Indian Premier League' name is illegal, Kerala HC dismisses it

A man in Kerala filed a petition claiming that the name 'Indian Premier League' used by the BCCI is illegal. In his plea, he argued that the IPL is not an official national tournament and therefore the BCCI cannot use the term 'Indian'. The Kerala High Court found no merit in the petition and dismissed it.
