Man finds $20 on ground, uses it to buy lottery ticket and wins $1 million in US

Jerry Hicks, a carpenter from US' Banner Elk, found a $20 note lying on the ground, outside a convenience store, and went on to buy a scratch-off lottery ticket using the note. He won $1-million lottery. Hicks plans to use his winnings to retire after working as a carpenter for 56 years. He also plans to help out his children.
