Man finds 26.11-carat diamond worth ₹1.2 crore in mine in MP's Panna

A small-scale brick kiln operator in MP's Panna district found a 26.11-carat diamond in a shallow mine, an official said on Tuesday. The precious stone may fetch up to ₹ 1.20 crore in an auction, Panna's diamond officer Ravi Patel has said. The proceeds of the upcoming auction will go to the miner after deduction of government royalty and taxes.
