Man forges documents to claim ownership of Durgadi Fort in Maharashtra

A man, Suyash Shirke, was booked for allegedly submitting fake documents to lay claim to the historic Durgadi Fort in Kalyan in Maharashtra's Thane district. He claimed he was the descendant of some of the yesteryear rulers who had possession of the fort and submitted an application at the local office last year. His application had bogus signatures, letterhead, etc.
