Man gets stuck, dies inside elevator of Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital

A man identified as Aroop Bandopadhyay died in the elevator of Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital after getting stuck inside with two others on Friday. "We never imagined a government hospital could be in such a state," his sister said, alleging no staff were present. The hospital remains under scrutiny following the 2024 rape and murder of a trainee doctor.
